Dr. Natalie Carrillo

Through our partner practice Equine Internal Medicine Consulting we provide care to our equine patients in the field.

Dr. Natalie Carrillo a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) obtained her veterinary degree in the year 2000 in Maracay, Venezuela. After a 1 year internship at Peterson and Smith equine hospital in Ocala FL, Dr. Carrillo completed a 3 year residency in large animal internal medicine at the University of Florida, and was a lecturer and clinical instructor for a one year period after that. In her time at the University of Florida Dr. Carrillo published research articles, book chapters, was chosen as resident of the year and given the Phi Zeta research award.

After creating and establishing an equine internal medicine service for a private practice in Andalucia, Spain. Dr. Carrillo returned to Florida and has been providing comprehensive equine veterinary care in south Florida since 2010.

It is Dr. Carrillo’s goal to provide prompt, kind and personal attention. To help improve and maintain your horse’s health through preventative medicine; and through communication and educational material help you understand your horse’s health and concerns if illness should occur.


 

Dr. Daniel Diklic

Dr. Ante Daniel Diklic or better known as Dr. D obtained his degree in veterinary medicine in the year 2001 in Venezuela and obtained his accreditation by the American Veterinary Medical Association in 2004 after completing a clinical year at the University of Florida.

South Florida became his home in 2008 where he worked for a large companion animal hospital for 3 years before starting his mobile veterinary practice in 2012.

Dr. D is known as a sincere, patient and compassionate veterinarian that will always do his best to help and guide you in order to provide the best care for your pet.


Dr. Weston Davis

Dr. Weston Davis graduated from the University of Florida College Of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. After graduation, Dr. Davis completed his internship in Sports Medicine and Surgery at Oakridge Equine Hospital, followed by a residency in Equine Surgery at North Carolina State University. In 2012, he became board certified in Large Animal Surgery by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Before joining Palm Beach Equine Clinic, Dr. Davis spent 1.5 years as a staff surgeon at a private practice referral center in Texas, and has authored and co-authored publications on topics including colic surgery in performance horses, MRI diagnosis of tendon lesions, and novel imaging and surgical techniques.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Davis is an avid sportsman and his hobbies include team roping, fishing, hunting, waterskiing and almost any outdoor activity.


 

Dr. Amanda Devoto

Dr. Amanda Devoto is a mixed animal veterinarian with a strong passion for caring for animals of all kinds. Born and raised in South Florida, she developed an early love for veterinary medicine and horsemanship, growing up riding and caring for her off-the-track Thoroughbred. Her involvement in the veterinary field began in 2009 and has included years of hands-on experience in various clinical and farm settings, solidifying her dedication to animal health and client communication.

She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida, where she fostered her interest in a broad range of species, with a particular focus on equine and small ruminant medicine. Dr. Devoto takes pride in providing compassionate, individualized care to both animals and their owners, and values a collaborative approach to improving the health and wellbeing of her patients.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her four beloved dogs. Dr. Devoto is excited to be part of a practice that shares her values and looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients and their animals.


Heather Hill 

Heather Hill is our office manager and the heartbeat of our day-to-day operations. Born and raised in South Florida, Heather discovered her love for horses while spending time with her grandparents in the Bahamas. That early connection turned into a lifelong passion for riding, and she now enjoys all riding disciplines—with a special interest in the Davie Pro Rodeo Flag Team.

Heather has been working in veterinary medicine since 2015 as a skilled technician with experience in both large and small animal care. Known around the barn as a true “horse whisperer,” her calm, intuitive nature helps animals—and their owners—feel at ease.

When she’s not at the clinic, Heather enjoys spending time with her four dogs and three horses. She is your go-to person for scheduling, billing, and any client service needs. Heather is committed to making every visit smooth, efficient, and welcoming, and is always happy to help however she can.


Holly Alvarez

Holly Alvarez is our beloved receptionist and the friendly face that keeps our front office running smoothly. Born and raised in West Virginia, Holly later moved to South Florida, where she spent over a decade working as an interior designer before taking time off to focus on raising her two beautiful children.

Upon returning to the workforce, Holly found her stride in administration and quickly became an invaluable part of our team. She genuinely enjoys connecting with clients, building long-lasting relationships, and helping wherever she’s needed. Her warm personality, attention to detail, and dedication make her the go-to person for scheduling, billing, and any client service needs.

Holly also has a special soft spot for llamas and a creative eye—when she’s not at the clinic, she loves to travel and pursue her passion for photography. Her commitment to making every client’s experience smooth, efficient, and welcoming is unmatched, and we truly couldn’t do it without her.


Katelyn Williams

Katelyn Williams is one of our dedicated veterinary technicians and an essential part of our patient care team. Born and raised in South Florida, Katelyn was introduced to the world of animal care early on through her grandfather, a mixed animal veterinarian. Her lifelong connection to horses began in childhood, and she has been riding competitively since 2011, with a background in hunter jumpers and a current love for trail riding.

Katelyn began her veterinary career in 2019 and has experience working with both large and small animals. She thrives in a mixed animal setting and especially enjoys the diversity of care it offers. In addition to her work as a technician, Katelyn is also an equine dentist and has a special interest in dentistry across species—from horses to cats and dogs. Her keen eye for detail and gentle handling make her a trusted resource for animal dental care.

Outside of work, Katelyn enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and relaxing with her two dogs. She is here to assist with all of your patient care needs and is passionate about providing thorough, compassionate care to every animal she meets.
